Nintendo isn’t getting left behind for the classic series’ revival on modern platforms. Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2026. Set 23 years after the events of Castlevania III (and the recent animated series), players take control of Trevor Belmont’s successor. Equipped with the legendary holy whip, players are tasked with taking out enemies, as well as using the classic weapon for traversal. You can see the reveal trailer below.
2026 marks the 40th year anniversary of the Castlevania series and Konami promises to bring more. The production lets fans know that ,“This is the beginning of numerous new products around Castlevania. Look forward to the return of the magnificent “nightmare” lurking in the darkness.”
