It’s that time of the month again. A number of songs will be available to sing for free on the Karaoke Joysound for Nintendo Switch app starting today, Friday, February 6 until Monday, February 16. The songs on offer this time were featured during Kōhaku no Uta Gassen, the end of the year music show on Japanese television. A total of 80 songs made the cut this time. These will be available to sing up to 99 times per day each during the duration of the campaign. You can see the list of songs in Japanese below.
Joysound Karaoke for Nintendo Switch is a free download on the Japanese eShop. To access the free songs, simply go to the “song search” area (曲をさがす in Japanese), then select “Try Songs for Free” (無料お試し曲 in Japanese). To sing more songs, you will need to purchase “tickets,” which start as low as ¥330 for a three hour session. For January, two free days giving fans full access to the entire library of songs took place over two days. You can read more about that here.
