MLB The Show 26 has been dated. The next entry into the long running series will release on Tuesday, March 17 on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This year’s cover athlete is New York Yankee star Aaron Judge, who also appeared on the cover of The Show 18. The World Baseball Classic will also be a part of the next game with some kind of integration planned for Diamond Dynasty.
Mysteriously absent from the latest news is the Nintendo Switch 2. San Diego Studios has made no mention of The Show 26 coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 natively. Whether or not this information is being saved for a possible upcoming Nintendo Direct or some other later announcement is unknown.
A gameplay trailer for the game is set to drop next week on Tuesday, February 3. Pre-orders for The Show 26 will also open on the same day for standard and digital deluxe editions.
