Switch 2 hardware is great, but there isn’t much I want to play on it yet. Next year I’m looking forward to Rhythm Paradise and Tomodachi Life.
Rich | B+
Ignoring the fact that it’s also available for Switch 1, Metroid Prime 4 on Switch 2 is enough to push the grade into passing territory. Combine that with DK Bananza and we’ve got ourselves a pretty good system! Looking forward to Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave and whatever the next Mario and Zelda games are (unless it’s another open-world Zelda…)
Ballz | C-
From the outside looking in, because I do not yet have a Switch 2, I’d give it a C-. The couple of launch exclusives look mildly entertaining but the big disappointment for me is NSO. I expected there to be more exclusives and faster releases to draw people in but with the basic GameCube games and now Virtual Boy being the only exclusives, it leaves a lot to be desired…However I am excited to play ports such as Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. I think year two and into year three will be much better for Switch 2!
