Different regions for different reasons. Although fans in Japan are getting a GBA RPG this week, fans in English speaking territories are getting something completely different. Forsaken 64 will hit the Nintendo 64 Mature app for NSO Expansion Pack members starting on Thursday, September 4. Forsaken 64 originally saw release on the N64 mid-1998 in both North American and Europe. The title was remastered and released on various platforms (excluding the Switch) in 2018 by Nightdive Studios. Although Forsaken 64 did not get a release in Japan this week on the N64 app, it makes sense. The title was only ever released on PC and PlayStation in the Japanese market.
