Nintendo revised the time frame for the release of their alarm clock to the public. At least in North America. Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmo will make its way to store shelves at participating retailers in North America starting this March. No Nintendo Switch Online subscription will be required to purchase the device upon release. No specifics were given for the release date outside of the March window. Originally, Nintendo stated that Alarmo will be available to the public in North America and other territories starting in mid-January. NCL has yet to comment on availability at retailers in Japan. The device is set to hit retail here in February.
The popularity of Alarmo seemed to surprise even Nintendo as stock was rapidly depleted leading to lotteries or long waiting times to receive the device. For more on Nintendo’s foray into the bedroom, be sure to check out our review here or in the video below.
