Nintendo shared their latest financial data today, Tuesday, May 7, for the 2024 Fiscal Year. All of the data here are worldwide numbers between April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024. Once again, hardware sales are down, however the Switch managed to pass another milestone - over 140 million units sold worldwide. Nintendo’s system is currently the third best selling gaming device of all time behind the Nintendo DS and PlayStation 2.
In terms of software, sales for Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Bros. Wonder remain strong. Additionally, two of Nintendo’s more recent games, Mario vs. Donkey Kong and Princess Peach: Showtime! have both sold over one million units each. Below are the top Nintendo published titles for the 2024 fiscal year.
