Live A Live 30th Anniversary Concert Coming to Tokyo August 25


Live A Live is inching closer and closer to its 30th anniversary and Square Enix is doing something special to celebrate. A special Live A Live concert is scheduled to be held at the Nihon Kogakuin Arena (formerly Katayanagi Arena) in Tokyo on Sunday, August 25. The show will feature performances from the game, talk sessions with performers and guests and more. The doors will open at 1:45 p.m., the concert will start at 2:30 p.m. and run until 5:30 p.m. The venue can accommodate up to 4,000 people. 

Tickets will be available via lottery/raffle. The registration for the lottery begins today, Wednesday, April 24 (noon) and will run until Tuesday, May 7 (6:00 p.m.). Winners will be notified by email or the My Page section of the registration website starting on Saturday, May 11 at 12:00 p.m. Tickets will need to be purchased between May 11 at 1:00 p.m. to Tuesday, May 14 (11:00 p.m.). Additional service charges of ¥1,080 will be be applied to purchases. Credit card payments are accepted as are payments at convenience stores Lawson and Ministop. There is a limit of four tickets per person. 

The pricing for the tickets is as follows:
  • VIP Ticket | ¥44,000 ($284 USD)
  • S Ticket Special 1 | ¥16,500 ($106 USD)
  • S Ticket Special 2 | ¥14,300 ($92 USD)
  • S Ticket | ¥11,000 ($71 USD)
The VIP Ticket comes with 30th anniversary pamphlet, an acrylic concert light, laminated pass, guaranteed seating in the first row and a group photo with the performers. The S Ticket Special 1 tickets include the pamphlet and light, S Special 2 comes with the light and the S Ticket is for viewing the concert. The acrylic light features a special 30th anniversary Live A Live logo and 15 color changing variations and a battery that will last roughly six hours. You can see a sample picture of it below.
