Gamers in Japan got a special surprise addition to the Switch retro game lineup. Mother 3, the Japan exclusive final entry into the series, is available now for Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack users in Japan via the Game Boy Advance app. You can see the trailer for the game below.
Mother 3 was originally in development for the Nintendo 64DD before shifting gears and moving over to the GBA. The game released on Nintendo’s handheld on April 20, 2006. It was later re-released on the Wii U Virtual Console in December 2015.
