It’s only January, but that isn’t stopping the Valentine’s Day marketing rush in Japan. From today, Friday, January 5, until Thursday, February 15, Nintendo is working with chocolate maker Godiva for a special Animal Crossing campaign. This will see a number of different chocolates, mugs, stickers, and more. These will be available at Godiva retail locations, Godiva Cafe and Nintendo TOKYO, Nintendo OSAKA and Nintendo KYOTO. Below, you can find information about the entire lineup as well as images of what is on offer.

In addition to chocolates, a special bundle with a special Godiva x Animal Crossing mug, a six piece assortment of AC chocolates and two packs of hot chocolate mix (Dark, Milk, 40g) will also be available. There are three variants on the mugs - blue, green or pink. The mugs will be sold at different locations depending on the color. A limited edition sticker commemorating the event will be included with the purchase of all goods offered during the campaign. The back of each sticker will also have a bar code that can be scanned for a special smartphone wallpaper.
During the campaign period, the Godiva Cafe will be offering a their specialty hot chocolate in the Animal Crossing themed mugs. The drinks run ¥770 each.
