Good-Feel’s next project has a solid release date. Otogi Katsugeki Mameda no Bakeru Oracle Saitarō no Sainan (Mameda no Bakeru for short) is set to release both physically and digitally on the Nintendo Switch on November 30. Both versions will retail for ¥5,280. Mameda no Bakeru is a 3D action games that puts players in the role of a shape-shifting tanuki (who prefers a human form) as he teams up with famous Japanese folk heroes, such as Momotarō and Kintarō as they aim to stop the evil “Festival Corps.” The goal here is to bring peace to the whole of Japan by taking out as many of the Festival Corps members as you can with melee attacks, projectiles, transformative powers and more. Mameda Bakeru was originally revealed during the Japanese June 2023 Nintendo Direct. As of right now, this Goemon inspired title is Japan only.
