Although the Switch release for AEW: Fight Forever has been set for other Western territories, Japanese wrestling/gaming fans have had to play the waiting game. Until now. THQ Nordic Japan revealed that AEW: Fight Forever will release on the Nintendo Switch digitally on Friday, June 30. A physical version is also on the way on Thursday, August 10. Pre-orders are open for the game on Amazon Japan and the Geo Online Store. The physical version retails for ¥7,590. As of the time of this writing, Fight Forever is not listed on the Japanese eShop.
AEW: Fight Forever releases a day earlier (June 29) in Japan on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S | X and Steam. Outside of the delayed Switch physical version, the game will also see a physical release on PS4 and PS5.
