Fans of the Japanese language and Super Mario across North America are in luck. The Japanese dubbed version of the Super Mario Bros. Movie will see a release at select theaters across the United States and Canada on Friday, April 28. While it’s a bit unclear who this is targeting, it’s likely trying to reach Japanese nationals/speakers living abroad. Many of the locations/cities chosen tend to have a high number of Japanese speakers visiting or living in the areas. These screenings coincide with the April 28 release of the movie in Japan.
