Buddy Mission: BOND Live Event Coming September 24

A Buddy Mission: BOND live event is hitting Japan on September 24 in Yokohama at KT Zepp Yokohama. Titled “Buddy Mission: BOND Dai Kōsō! Mikagura Cup,” the event will feature the voice actors from the game in a special sports related story. Two performances will be held - one starting at 3:30 p.m. and the other at 7:30 p.m.

A special lottery for the in person tickets is set to open on Monday, August 15 at 10:00 a.m. and run until Wednesday, August 24 at 11:59 p.m. Winners will be notified on Saturday, August 27 from 1:00 p.m. and will have until Monday, August 29 to complete their purchase of the tickets. Tickets themselves run ¥10,800 a piece for reserved seating and winners can purchase up to four tickets each. A ¥600 drink ticket per performance will also be required. Those attending the in-person event will also receive a special Mikagura Cup event ticket, an A2 cloth poster and the ability to check the on stage discussion with the actors after the show (planned for roughly 10 minute). The afternoon event will feature Mokuma and Chesley while the evening shows will feature Luke and Aaron. 

Streaming tickets will go on sale between September 3 (10:00 a.m.) until October 2 (9:00 p.m.). Premium tickets will run ¥7,000 while standard tickets will be ¥4,800. The archive of the event can be viewed until 11:59 p.m. on October 2. Premium ticket holders will be able to receive the bonus items that are available to those attending the in-person event. They will be shipped out in early November. 

This is the third Buddy Mission: BOND to be held in Japan. The first one was held in September 2021 (more here), while the second event was held in February 2022 (more info here). Buddy Mission: BOND originally released on the Nintendo Switch in Japan in January 2021. While the game has seen release in other parts of Asia (Hong Kong, South Korea), it has yet to see an English release.
