Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is coming to the Switch in Japan. The game will release on April 21 (April 20 in the West) and will retail for ¥2,480. It is currently available for pre-order on the Japanese eShop.
Revealed during the English speaking February 2022 Nintendo Direct, the game was missing entirely from the Japanese iteration of the online event. Japanese support was listed under supported language options on western eShops, however the game was absent from Japanese release lists. This marks the first official Japanese release of the game since October 2008. The Force Unleashed is set between the prequel and original Star Wars trilogy and follows the story of Darth Vader’s secret apprentice Starkiller as he hunts down the remaining Jedi.
