The untitled sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been pushed into 2023. Series producer Eiji Aonuma went on to say that the team has “decided to extend our development time a bit.” The sequel takes place not only in the various locations found in 2017’s Breath of the Wild, but also in the skies above. Aonuma said “the game goes even beyond that and there will be an even wider variety of features to enjoy including new encounters and new gameplay elements.”
Aonuma closed in saying, “In order to make this game’s experience something special, the entire development team is continuing to work diligently on the game so please wait a little longer.”
