Demon Slayer Coming to Switch this June in Japan

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles is coming to the Nintendo Switch in Japan on Thursday, June 9. The title originally appeared on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S in October 2021. Hinokami Chronicles is a 3D arena fighter with competitive play and a single player campaign putting players through the first season of the anime as well as the movie, Mugen Train. For the multiplayer, a total of 24 playable characters will be available in local or online play. 

The game will be available on the eShop as a digital download or in physical form for ¥7,480 ($64.93 USD). A limited edition will also be available with additional costumes for in-game characters as well as a special “Figure Stand” featuring Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke. The limited edition is available for pre-order now and retails for ¥11,880 ($103.12 USD). 
The Hinokami Chronicles has yet to be confirmed for a release on the Switch outside of Japan. Language options for the Japanese release have yet to be revealed. You can seen the teaser trailer for the Japanese Switch version below.
