To celebrate the launch of the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack in Japan, the My Nintendo Store online is offering a handful of Nintendo 64 related items that can be picked up for Platinum Points. First up are a collection of keychains, or “key holders” as they are known in Japan. These feature the Japanese N64 box art for all of the games that launched with the Expansion Pack service. They are priced at 64 Platinum Points each and are also available as a set for 500 Points. Additionally, a set of five N64 paperclips are also available. The set runs 300 Platinum Points. All items are set to begin shipping in early December.
While all of the items purchased with Platinum Points are essentially free, members will still have to pay for shipping. I placed an order for both the keychain set and paperclips which rang up the standard shipping cost of ¥550 (roughly $4.82 USD). The items just went live less than 24 hours from the time of this post, but the keychain set and several other individual keychains are already sold out.
