A new trailer for the upcoming Crayon Shin-chan / My Summer Vacation game dropped recently revealing new gameplay elements and features that will be in the final version of the game. The trailer shows off some collecting aspects that will be found in the game. Throughout the town of Aso, Shin-chan will be able to catch a variety of bugs and fish which will be recorded in a special picture diary. The diary contains pictures of people that you help and various items that you find over summer vacation.
Shin-chan will also be able to help and interact with people around town. Some examples shown off in the trailer include running various errands for the townsfolk (in this case, collecting a variety of vegetables, fish or bugs for some cash), sharing pictures with the local newspaper (again, for some pocket change), raising vegetables, battling dinosaurs with friends (toys using a rock paper scissors mechanic) and even being a DJ. Crayon Shin-chan: The Professor and My Summer Vacation - The Seven Day Endless Journey will release on the Nintendo Switch on July 15, 2021. The game will be available as a digital download on the eShop and physically at retail with a collector’s edition also available.
