Animal Crossing: New Horizons Soundtrack Hitting Japan This Summer

A special soundtrack set featuring music from the Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Atsumare: Dōbutsu no Mori as it is known in Japan) is scheduled to be released in Japan on Wednesday, June 9 via Nippon Columbia. Three variations will be available. 

The first arrangement is called Atsumare: Dōbutsu no Mori Original Soundtrack BGM Collection and will feature 73 tracks spread across four CDs packaged in a large sized case. It will retail for ¥4,950 (roughly $45 USD). Background music used during the in-game days, events, special arrangements for weather and more will be found here. Additionally, the Opening Theme recorded by musicians in Japan remotely in May 2020 will be available. 

The second arrangement is called the Atsumare: Dōbutsu no Mori Original Soundtrack Totake (K.K. Slider) Music Collection Instrumental. Spanning three discs, this set features 93 tracks and will also release in a tall case. The retail price is ¥4,400 ($40 USD). All 95 instrumental songs from the game will be available. 

A special set containing both arrangements will also be available and retail for ¥11,000 ($100 USD). This set also includes a special K.K. Slider headphone case and and art book with specially designed jacket artwork. This will all come packaged in a special deluxe box. 

The CD sets can be purchased at music shops around Japan, Nintendo Tokyo, the Nippon Columbia Online Store and the Japanese My Nintendo Online Store. Pre-orders open today, April 14. You can find individual pictures of all of the items below.
