Momotarō Dentetsu Gets Free Content Update

Momotarō Dentetsu: Showa Heisei Reiwa mo Teiban, the super popular Japan only party game from Konami, received an update today, April 22. The update, Version 1.2.0, will add a few new features and modes to the game. A brand new “mileage” element is being added into the game. To earn these in-game miles, players simply have to play either the “Momotarō Ten Year Trial” or “Net Momotarō” modes.

Accumulated miles can be used at the Mile Exchange Shop or Furusato Mileage in the Mileage Service area of the game. The shop has a variety of trains, character stamps and different managers that can be used in the game. New items appear as you you make purchases as a way to encourage gamers to use the points as much as possible.

The Furusato Mileage section allows players to use miles to decide on what new landmarks and special products will be added to the nationwide map of Japan. Player across Japan will be in a competition of sorts to see which landmark and special products will be added to the in-game map in future updates from Konami.

Additionally, a ranking system for the Momotarō Ten Year Trial has also been added and is currently in the Spring Season running from April 22 until June 10. Here, gamers will try to rank in by gaining the most assets in this ten year period.
